Every business needs to have effective backup policies and procedures in place. All to often this critical element is not managed effectively, or at worst case completely neglected.

At RTW Hosting’s data centres, your entire data is backed up daily to ensure that in the event of data loss or corruption we can work with you to restore your backups.

Each backup is subsequently stored in a different secure location to ensure complete business continuity and to protect against site failure.

• To prevent against data loss, accidental deletion of files or data, corruption of data, system failure, or disaster.
  
  
• To permit rapid restoration of information and business processes, should such events occur.
  
  
• Backup retention periods can be defined by legal or business requirements.
  
  
• Incremental daily backup (Mon - Thurs) with data located on site and retained for two weeks.
  
  
• Full weekly backup every Friday with data located off site and retained for eight weeks.
  
  
• Monthly backups are maintained for twelve months.
  
  
• RTW Hosting carry out random test restores on a weekly basis to verify the integrity of the data.
